My Honest Take
I'll say it again: this therapy works. The chemistry is solid. The antimicrobial properties of ozonides are real and well-documented. People use it for skin conditions, wound care, oral health, and more, and they get results.
My personal issue is purely sensory. The smell bothers me. The sticky, vaseline-like consistency bothers me. These are not valid reasons to dismiss a therapy, and I don't. I've made it for people I care about because I believe in it even if I don't want to use it myself.
If you're someone who doesn't mind the texture and can tolerate the smell, ozonated oil is one of the most practical topical ozone therapies you can have in your toolkit. It's stable, it lasts, and you can make it at home with a decent generator.
